WHAT TO PACK FOR CAMPING

In this article, I am telling you the checklist of the camp, what I recommend and what I keep with me. From my past experience, I have added some unusual things that may confuse you but are really useful and effective for camping, hiking, traveling, and their price is very low.

1. Wearing Stuff

In this part, I include all necessary wearing things that you need to pack. Clothes to pack for camping are-

  • Quick-dry fabric t-shirts or upper cloths
  • Joggers or Long, lightweight pants
  • Athletic or casual Shorts
  • Socks
  • Underwear or sports bras
  • Undershirts or camisoles
  • Proper footwear as needed for the type of camp. Such as hiking boots, hiking shoes, Athletic shoes, etc.
  • Raincoat
  • Winter jacket
  • Sun hat, baseball cap, visor
  • Light backpack or sling bag

Mainly wearing stuff varies with the weather condition. I am giving you some tips on the main three weather conditions.

  1. For summer camping
    • You should choose breathable fabrics.  Cotton and Linen are the best for t-shirts, and Synthetic & Blends best for shorts.
    • Pick lightweight and bright color outfits.
    • It is better if your outfit is airy and relaxed fit.
    • Breathable footwear, hiking boots, etc.
    • Suns cream, Sunglass, Hat.
  2. For Winter camping
    • Winter jacket and pants. The most common fabrics are wool, leather, parachute, etc.
    • Pick comparatively lightweight but warm clothes.
    • Waterproof boots are very effective footwear in winter.
    • Hand gloves, UV and windproof glass, moisture cream for skin.
    • Wooly warmth hat and socks.
  3. For waterside camping
    • Swimwear, shorts, and T-shirt, Bikini, One-Piece Swimsuit, etc.
    • Quick-dry fabric cloths.
    • Water shoes, slipper, crocs, sneakers
    • Towel, beach mats

2. Sleeping Stuff

Here, I cover all the sleep and comfort-related things. For your convenience, I make two sections: one is basic things that you need for sleep at camping, and another is optional things that you need to make your camping delightful.

    • Sleeping pillow
    • Sheets or blanket

3. Eating Stuff

It means “food to bring camping.” A great way to pick the food for a camp is to choose those foods that don’t require a fridge. There are plenty of items you can include on your camp food list that won’t rot.

I suggest some important things that will make a significant impact to make your meal. But if you already have specific cooking items planned, choose your kitchen items based on your cooking items.

  • First-aid kits: In this box, you have to keep things to treat cuts, burns, scrapes, sprains, and many other common ailments.
